The Secretariat Office is headed by the Secretary-General, the staff include the Director of Alumni Service Center, three secretaries, two executive officers, and one clerk, who are responsible for the secretarial works. In addition, a Vice-President is responsible for the academic affairs and general affairs of the administrative units.
In this academic year, the Secretariat Office continues to hold university affairs meetings at various levels and group committees according to related tasks. The University Affairs Council endeavors to plan the development of the school, with faculty and administrative staff to conduct the operation of the university. It is active in inter-collegiate communication to integrate the educational ideals of different departments. Consolidating consensus, it is dedicated to bettering the university development. It is also responsible for the records of decisions made in university level conferences and regulations, which are all announced to faculty and staff through the internet announcement system.
To promote the quality of teaching and administration, administration satisfaction survey is conducted in every academic year. All administration operations are carried out in accordance with the ISO standard to achieve systematization, standardization, and computerized administration operations. The internal control implementation scheme announced by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, Executive Yuan is adopted to revise the internal control manual. Consolidating the tracking and evaluation process of the administrative management regarding internal control, the office executes the periodic targets of the university development carefully.
The Alumni Service Center was established in the Secretariat Office on February 1, 2014, to promote the interaction and service of alumni. Gathering the force of alumni, it helps encourage the university development.
The Secretariat Office endeavors to help different units to explore resources for the school affairs to optimize the efficiency of the university operation and professional skills. By integrating the academic and administrative units in the university, we continue to strive towards the goal of increasing the intercollegiate, diverse, and international competitivity of NTUNHS.
